PET SITTING
Putting Your Pet First
House-sitting: I provide overnight care for your pets, while keeping them on their regular daily schedule. This service is all-inclusive, and I treat both your home and your loved ones as if they were my own. I send regular photo and video updates of your pets and keep you informed of anything related to your home. I provide light cleaning and plant watering services. Extensive plant watering or deep cleaning services are available upon request.

DOG WALKING
Responsible & Reliable
Dog walks: Walking is essential for a dog’s health; they need regular exercise to stimulate their brain and complex muscles. For a 30-minute walk we spend about 20-25 mins walking. The other 5-10 mins are reserved for play, pictures, getting them ready and settled, replacing water, and giving treats (if applicable). Photo and video updates are provided along with any pertinent information. 1-hour walks are similar, but with 45-50 minutes dedicated to the walk.

DROP IN VISITS
The Best for Your Pet
Drop-ins: During these visits I provide potty breaks, food and/or treats at their feeding times, playtime and lots of love. Each visit I send a photo or video update along with how they are doing. These often are just a midday break from being in the house while you are at work. They can also be chosen while you are on vacation or away from home for an extended period for a minimum of 2-3 visits per day for dogs and 1 per day for cats. I require daily minimums for vacation drop-ins because of their separation from normal daily interaction, their need for potty breaks/clean litter, and to provide fresh food and water. (Minimums are non-negotiable.) I arrive in the appointed time slot (within 1-2 hours of requested time) morning drop ins are typically between 8am-10am, afternoons from 11am-2pm, and evenings from 5pm-9pm unless otherwise discussed.

FAQS
It’s natural to have tons of questions when considering leaving your beloved pet with a stranger for the first time. To help you, I’ve provided a list of some of the frequently asked questions I'm confronted with below. Please do not hesistate to reach out with any further questions!
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
I require a 1 night deposit for overnight bookings and a 50% deposit for drop-in visits. This deposit is refundable up to 7-days before the stay begins for house sitting and drop-ins. The deposit is non-refundable after 12pm one week before the stay begins. Any payment received after services have been rendered or started is non-refundable. My cancellation policy is the same day for walks, no deposit is required and as long as the walk is cancelled before I start driving there any payment is fully refunded. If I am on my way or arrived already I do charge for gas up to the cost of the visit itself.
HOW MANY DOGS CAN YOU WALK AT ONCE?
I can walk up to 5 dogs at once depending on their size, leash behavior and recall. Typically, I walk 2 large dogs on-leash or 3 small dogs on-leash. I have pack hikes off-leash with up to 5 large and/or small dogs with fair to excellent recall along with my husband Jacob working as an additional supervisor.
MY PET NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET. WILL YOU TAKE THEM?
Certainly. It is my responsibility to ensure your pet has the best care possible, and sometimes this includes vet visits for regular check ups, scheduled treatments, or on rare occasions, an emergency visit. I aim to keep in excellent communication with all types of vet visits and even offer vet visit transport if you are unable to leave work to bring your pet to their appointment on time.
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RARE OR EXOTIC PETS?
Yes! We have several years experience with rare and exotic pets and even livestock! Snakes are one of our specialties in care as I have had my own for several years. We also care for other reptiles, amphibians, small mammals and small to extra large livestock including horse care. Please contact us for more specific details about caring for your unusual pets.
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH CAT CARE?
Yes, cats are the bread to our butter at Florence Pet Services. Our clientele consist of a fairly even amount of cat and dog clients and we love caring for both felines and canines alike (we cannot choose between being cat or dog people!) We tailor our care to each individual pets' needs.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN THIS PROFESSION?
Michelle, the owner, has been in pet care since 2013, this is her eleventh year operating Florence Pet Services (formerly Pampered Pets Pet Care in Deltona, FL). We changed our name 3 years ago when we relocated to Western, MA as there were 2 other businesses nearby with the same or similar former name and we wanted to stand out!
